FSC Model Options

FSC MK I

FSC MK II (In Development)

The Flight Shield Connectivity MK I LRU records 2GB of powerplant, FOQA, MOQA, or other aircraft data via ARINC 717 / 429 and/or RS422 / 232 and transmits LTE cellular seamlessly to you or directly to your powerplant analytics/trend monitoring provider immediately after each flight.

Ethernet is also supported.

The Flight Shield Connectivity MK I can solve data and maintenance notification problems in your operation by offering Global cellular coverage paired with quad-band cellular design and comprehensive coverage without managing multiple SIM cards or contracts.

LIGHT AND EASY INSTALL
Certified on over 300 aircraft models, installed in over 5,000 aircraft with an MTBF of over 100,000 hours, the Flight Shield Connectivity MK I installation requires minimal to no alterations.

  • Weight: 9.9 oz. (281 gr)
  • Footprint: 2.5 x 2.0 inches

When needed, Flight Shield Connectivity can offer the installation kit required for your aircraft type and support certification and engineering.

The Flight Shield Connectivity MK II provides the features of the MK I including aircraft data recording and wireless download PLUS 32GB storage, duplex comm and added functionality.

The MK II provides an ARINC 834 interface between your EFB and aircraft data and includes a Wi-Fi access point and LTE cellular eliminating the need for any other installed equipment to connect your EFB to the aircraft.

The MK II is an easy to install, compact, lightweight avionics interface. Many aircraft require no alterations to install – only 4 wires if wireless option is not applicable to your aircraft.

The FSC MK II provides timely, wireless delivery or receipt of aircraft data needed to optimize safety, operations, and cost reduction

The MK II gathers aircraft flight and maintenance data with secure wireless or wired connectivity to the EFB. Combined with an integrated GPS receiver, the operator can display their ship position in their EFB applications.
