Robert Rubens \u2013 Managing General Partner<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

Mr. Rubens was a founding member of AirFone, the world\u2019s first passenger use 900 MHz SSB modulation telephone system to be installed on Part 121 commercial airliners. <\/span><\/p>\n

He was responsible for FAA certification of the LRUs and installation into the aircraft. United, American and Delta were early adopters. <\/span><\/p>\n

Before retiring from a major US-based airline, he was a senior captain.<\/span><\/p>\n

A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Mr. Rubens has served in senior management for several successful start-ups in the aviation, communications and logistics industries.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a member of the Board of Directors for these and other companies, he was involved with the strategic vision of the enterprise as well as the guiding policies to enact the visions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Rubens enjoys flying his company aircraft as an avocation to his business activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Aviation \u2013 ATP-rated pilot and an A&P\/IA rated mechanic<\/span>\n\u2022 Communications \u2013\u00a0 Senior Operations manager<\/span>\n\u2022 Water Treatment \u2013 Senior manager for a world leader in the field<\/span><\/p>\n
